My Philosophy — In Soundbites
Throughout my life, I have always believed ardently in having justifiable self-worth, in not wasting time or effort, in accomplishments, in doing what is moral, in being rational. I’ve been considered a greedy capitalist who was madly in love with liberty, an idealist with his heads in the clouds while also being a brutal realist. I had many pieces of a coherent philosophy. Until discovering Objectivism, I had no way of putting them together. Now I do.
Reason. Purpose. Self-Esteem.

I'm Shaun. I'm a financially independent 22-year-old guy living in rural America. I'm a fan of making money, writing about finance, experimenting with marketing, studying philosophy, and travel -- though I've neglected the latter far too much.
