It saddens us to read what you, as a Christian, believe as to man's basic purpose. It's true that our ability to create is a wonderful blessing from God. It's true that God is happy when we use our God-given talents to create. That's not our "purpose," however.

Our basic purpose--the reason why we were created--is to love, worship and serve God with all of our mind, soul, heart and strength. God is love, and He created us for the express purpose of living within His love. Everything else is secondary.

Also--you miss the point when you say that the difference between man and animal is our minds and our ability to create. The major difference is our soul. Man has a soul--that part of us that makes us like God. We have the ability to love and to worship and to reason and to develope wisdom. We have the ability to choose to worship God. That is what separates us from the animals.

Your point of view is oddly secular for someone who professes to be a Christian.

Very true. Adam reasoned and argued with God, and even attempted to defend himself and rationalize his actions. All with his mind.
